This track contains the sounds of various birds: including several ravens and a red-tailed hawk. This was recorded by the Bow River in the Banff National Park Biome.

Earlier on recording day, I had begun a drawing of a red-tailed hawk feather that I saw while walking in the Parade Grounds in Banff. I later wondered if the feather that had lain at my feet belonged to the same red tailed hawk that flew over my head later in the day as I recorded by the river....The discovery of the feather, along with experience of witnessing the hawk's flight showed me new ‘edges’ or ‘boundaries’ in a serendipitous narrative that I had not previously considered as I traveled through the Biome landscape.
